     Hey Girls, sorry I have not been very good with this blog thing!   I truly am trying to do better.  We have ALL been so busy lately and we have a lot more busy to come! 
     I hope everyone had a great time at the dinner/auction activity!  You guys really did an amazing job!  Thanks Again.  Just remember to follow up on the services you committed to.  If you don't remember who bought your service you can ask Sis. Blackwell. 
    I also hope everyone is still working hard on their Personal Progress!  I know its kind of hard to fit personal progress in with all the other stuff going on.  But, I promise you that if you will just try to do a little bit here and there, like reading a few scriptures it asks you to read or enter something in your journal, you will have a much better day!  Also when you review your PP Book, you can be reminded of what your goals are  and you will be able to apply them in your daily activities.  Remember you can do personal progress on line as well.  So while you are on the computer, click on over to LDS.org or the link I've added and review what you need to be doing.

February Activities

We had our New Beginnings last week and introduced our 2012 theme.  "Arise and Shine Forth that thy light may be a standard for all nations"  Here is a awesome video that goes along with this theme.  Enjoy!

We also invited 8 new YW who will join us this year!  Christina Madsen, Jaclyn Wood, Britnay Sindt, Janika Varga, Madison Brown, Tyree Cieslak and Sydney Austin!   Can't wait to have you join us.  Thanks for coming!

1st Joint Activity

Ok, so I'm so sorry for not updating the blog for a while.  With the holidays behind us now and things aren't so crazy I can get back to keeping you posted on all the fun things we are doing, and share pictures of activities we have done. 
WE had a great joint activity at the first of of the year.  We went ice skating at the Olympic Rink and had a blast!  So here are some pictures from the activity.

PERSONAL PROGRESS

We had a awesome turnout supporting Katie and Jenny's Personal Progress Project!!! In case some of you missed it, they hosted a Halloween Party for the primary kids.  They had the support of some of the other Young Women.  There was pumpkin painting, sugar cookie decorating, spider cookies, coloring and they taught the kids the Thriller!  There were about 75 kids that came.  So fun.  Thanks girls for all you did!

Standards Night

Just a reminder about our activity this Wednesday... We are meeting as a stake for a Stake Standards Night!  This will be alot of fun.  We are meeting at 7pm at the stake center.  If you need a ride please call a leader.  This activity is church dress !   See you beautiful girls Wednesday!!!

Dating...Boys... Oh my!!

We had a great lesson this Sunday.  We talked about dating decisions.  Its so fun to talk about boys and dating with a bunch of young women! Fun lesson!  We wanted to share a little bit more on this subject.  There is a great talk given by Sis. Elaine Dalton that we hope each of you will take a few minutes to read.  Here is the link

Remember......Our Heavenly Father wants you to date young men who are faithful members of the church who will be worthy to take you to the temple and be married the Lord's way.  Remember to not settle for less than what the Lord wants you to be.
