PERSONAL PROGRESS

We had a awesome turnout supporting Katie and Jenny's Personal Progress Project!!! In case some of you missed it, they hosted a Halloween Party for the primary kids.  They had the support of some of the other Young Women.  There was pumpkin painting, sugar cookie decorating, spider cookies, coloring and they taught the kids the Thriller!  There were about 75 kids that came.  So fun.  Thanks girls for all you did!

Standards Night

Just a reminder about our activity this Wednesday... We are meeting as a stake for a Stake Standards Night!  This will be alot of fun.  We are meeting at 7pm at the stake center.  If you need a ride please call a leader.  This activity is church dress !   See you beautiful girls Wednesday!!!

Dating...Boys... Oh my!!

We had a great lesson this Sunday.  We talked about dating decisions.  Its so fun to talk about boys and dating with a bunch of young women! Fun lesson!  We wanted to share a little bit more on this subject.  There is a great talk given by Sis. Elaine Dalton that we hope each of you will take a few minutes to read.  Here is the link

Remember......Our Heavenly Father wants you to date young men who are faithful members of the church who will be worthy to take you to the temple and be married the Lord's way.  Remember to not settle for less than what the Lord wants you to be.

Welcome to September!

Sister Loveless gave a great lesson on... Each Person is Divine and Eternal.  Some points from the lesson where.....
1.  The Lord is the creator of all persons.  He tells us in the scriptures that all his children are divine and eternal, and he wants us to love them without regard for their race, culture, or status.
2.   Just as an infant is precious to its mother, each person is of infinite worth to our Father in Heaven.
3.  As each of you reach out to those around you, you can perform miracles in other people's lives and bring happiness into their own lives.

July 20th ACTIVITY!

Reminder for our extra fun activity this week put on by our awesome Bishopric!

We are going water sliding

We are meeting at the church at 6:00pm!!!

This is a water activity and you will most likely be wet!

Please come in a modest swim suit or clothes to get wet in (like shorts and tee shirt)

Bring a towel ......or you can just shake yourself dry,  haha

There will be a fire pit so we can roast marshmellows!!

This will be super fun!! 

Good-bye Party for Barbara

 What a wonderful year is was to have Barbara with us.  We took her to the park and introduced her to ice blocking.  It was a lot of fun.  Thanks for all the memories Barbara! We will truly miss you Barbara!
